What I Will Not Do: A Statement of Professional Ethics

Operate Outside Legal Boundaries:

I do not engage in illegal surveillance, such as trespass on private property.  Wiretapping, or intercepting electronic communications.

Dishonest Tactics or Misrepresentation:

I do not misrepresent myself as a law enforcement officer or use deceptive, unethical tactics to gain information.

Poor Communication and Unresponsiveness:

I do not ignore calls, leave attorneys or clients in the dark, or provide vague updates on a case progress.

Inadmissible Evidence Handling:

I do not collect evidence through illicit means that cannot be used in a court of law.

Make Over the Top Guarantees:

I do not guarantee specific case outcomes (e.g., "I can definitely find them," or ""100% chance of success") as this is unethical and unrealistic.

"Cowboy" Investigative Methods:

I do not use intimidation or aggressive tactics when interviewing witnesses, which can jeopardize the credibility of the evidence.

Unclear Billing and Hidden Fees:

I do not operate with hidden, unexpected, or non-transparent billing practices.

Shady Sources:

I do not use "Information Brokers," or sources that cannot be verified as legal, which risks the integrity of the defense.

Treating the Job as a "Side-Hustle":

I do not treat cases as a low priority side projects; I prioritize responsiveness and thoroughness,
